1947 Oxydol Advertisement - Daily Vintage Flashback

Today's daily vintage flashback takes us back to 1947 with hese vintage Oxydol advertisements.  Oxydol was started in 1914 and sold to Procter and Gamble in 1927, becoming Procter and Gamble's very first laundry detergent. This detergent was sold in the US, UK and Canada. You can still find it for sale today at places like Walmart and Amazon among others. I honestly don't remember ever seeing this brand. It made me think of the much newer OxiClean started in 1999. I think most people know the OxiClean guy commercials. Anyhow, hope you enjoy today's vintage flashback!

Do you remember Oxydol from your childhood? Do you have a product of yesterday that you'd love to see advertisements for? Leave a comment below.
