Vintage Beauty: 1943 Hair Do's and Dont's — Wear a Coiffure that Suits You

I think we've all done it at some point  — we've seen a stunning hairdo on our favorite actress, a model in a magazine, or some vintage lover like ourselves and it just didn't have the same wow factor on us. Well, it's not that we didn't do the hair correctly but maybe didn't take into consideration what type of vintage hairdo actually flatters our features and personality.

In today's article from the November 1943 issue of Movies and Radio Guide, they address this very problem. I do think the model is pretty in all the images but I do agree two of the hairdos are more flattering for her than the one. I guess they simply highlight and bring attention to her best features and take her from looking nice to looking gorgeous.

While choosing a style that suits your features and personality is great, it's also important to note that you should wear whatever makes you feel best. Don't worry what other people say. They may have their opinion about what they think looks best for your but that's all it is.... an opinion.
